Jean Claude Drouot (born 17 December 1938) is a Belgian actor whose career has lasted over a half-century. At the age of twenty-five, he gained widespread fame in the French-speaking world as a result of portraying the title role in the popular television adventure series, Thierry la Fronde. Jean-Claude Constant Nestor Gustave Drouot naît le 17 décembre 1938 à Deux-Acren en Belgique. Formé au Jeune Théâtre de l' Université libre de Bruxelles , il suit les cours Charles-Dullin . Dès 1962 , il interprète les tragédies classiques et les grandes œuvres de Molière .
