    Michael Eric "Mikey" Reid is an American actor, who is best known for his role as Sinjin Van Cleef on the Nickelodeon series Victorious.

    Reid was born to a Jewish family in the Bronx, New York. He grew up in Yonkers, New York. He has wanted to be an actor since he was a child when he used to imitate television characters. He graduated elementary school at Hawthorne PEARLS in Yonkers, New York in 2003, and graduated high school from The San Fernando Valley Professional School in 2010. Reid moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue his acting career full-time. When he isn't working, he writes scripts and is involved in Prodigy Productions, a production company owned and run by teens. Reid also plays the guitar and sings and has performed with the "Hollywood School of Rock" in Los Angeles at venues including The Knitting Factory, The Mint, and

    Reid booked his first audition at age 5 for the Nickelodeon series "Emergency: Ask a Kid" and played a dying victim of poison. He continued to book many TV commercials and radio ads and at age 8, he appeared in the Nickelodeon pilot "The Difference".

    At age 10, Reid made his Off-Broadway theatre debut, starring opposite David Strathairn as Mamillious in Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. His performance garnered rave reviews; he quickly landed more theatre roles including Eyolf in "Little Eyolf" with the Epic Theatre Company, Kevin in "Wordsworth at the Cherry Lane Theatre" and Alex in "The Grille Room", directed by Tony award winner Thomas Kail, and Riley in "Lightly Built Bridges", directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes.

    Reid went on to play the role of Donald in the film "House of D", written and directed by David Duchovny and starring Robin Williams. He has appeared many times on Saturday Night Live, "Last Call with Carson Daly," and Late Night with David Letterman. He has also made appearances as Nicky Carlotta in the Law and Order: CI episode titled F.P.S. and as Kareem Abdul Jabbar in Ed. He had a recurring role as Roger on the ABC show Miss Guided, and appeared in the movie 'Fame' with Kelsey Grammer in 2009. He played Sinjin Van Cleef on the Nickelodeon TV show, Victorious from 2010 to 2013.

    He has also appeared in episodes of the TV series Modern Family, The Blacklist, and Paradise City and the 2017 comedy film Mamaboy.
