Kurt Gerron ( Berlín, Imperio Alemán, 11 de mayo de 1897- Oświęcim, 1 Alemania Nazi, 28 de octubre de 1944) fue un famoso actor y director alemán de origen judío asesinado en Auschwitz . Biografía. Gerron nació y residió en Berlín con sus padres de confesión judía. Empezó a estudiar Medicina pero dejó la carrera y se hizo actor en 1920.

He was arrested by the SS in 1943 and was sent to Theresienstadt in 1944 to direct a staged documentary intended to persuade world public opinion that Jews were well treated in concentration camps.
