María Simon (Montevideo, 4 de junio de 1954) es una ingeniera industrial, profesora y política uruguaya. Fue presidenta de ANTEL, la empresa de telecomunicaciones pública del Uruguay, entre 2005 y 2008. También se desempeñó como ministra de Educación y Cultura entre 2008 y 2010, y como viceministra de la misma cartera entre 2010 y 2012
