David Oyetokunbo Oyelowo (Oxford, 1 de abril de 1976) es un actor británico de ascendencia nigeriana. Es más conocido por haber interpretado a Danny Hunter en la serie de televisión Spooks y a Martin Luther King en la película Selma .
Oyelowo rose to prominence for portraying Martin Luther King Jr. in the biographical drama film Selma (2014) and Peter Snowdin in the HBO film Nightingale (2014), both of which garnered him critical acclaim.
David Oyelowo also known as 'David O', is a classically trained stage actor who has quickly become one of Hollywood's most sought-after talents. He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and received the "Scholarship for Excellence" from Nicholas Hytner in 1998.
