Don Haggerty (July 3, 1914 – August 19, 1988) was an American actor of film and television. Early life and education. Haggerty was born in Poughkeepsie, New York. [1] Before he began appearing in films in 1947, Haggerty was a Brown University athlete and attended the Experimental Theatre of Vassar College. [2] .
