Kavi Raz (born 1 January 1953) is an Indian-born British actor, writer, director and producer. Born in Punjab, Raz left India at a young age for the United Kingdom, where he grew up.
Kavi Raz is an award winning actor, producer, writer and director. He was the first actor of Indian descent to appear in a major TV series as regular in Hollywood. St. Elsewhere that award winning medical drama in which Kavi appeared as Doctor Vijay Kochar, aired during the early to mid-eighties on NBC.
