Actor. Years active. 1915–1938. Harvey Thornton Clark (October 4, 1885 – July 19, 1938) was an American actor on stage and screen. [1] He appeared in more than 200 films between 1915 and 1938. He was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, and died in Hollywood, California, from a heart attack .
Source: Wide World. On the evening of July 11, 1951, one of the biggest riots in U.S. history began after a young Black couple moved into an apartment in all-white Cicero, Illinois, west of Chicago. The husband, Harvey Clark Jr., was a World War II veteran who migrated to Chicago from Mississippi and was working as a bus driver.
The buildings at the center of the riots are still standing and occupied as of 2017. Harvey E. Clark Jr. died in 1998, aged 75, at his home in Swannanoa, North Carolina. See also.
