Ronald Lamont " Winky " Wright (born November 26, 1971) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1990 to 2012. He is a two-time light middleweight world champion and was the last to hold the undisputed title at that weight until Jermell Charlo in 2022. [2]

Winky Wright was a puzzle few wanted to tackle when he was in his prime. Wright, whose given name is Ronald, fought left-handed, was a boxing wizard and very tough. He was never stopped in a career that started in 1990 and ended with a loss to Peter Quillin in 2012. The Floridian had humble beginnings, though.
