Miguel Ángel Cotto Vázquez (born October 29, 1980) is a Puerto Rican former professional boxer who competed from 2001 to 2017. He is a multiple-time world champion, and the first Puerto Rican boxer to win world titles in four weight classes, from light welterweight to middleweight.
In his third title defense, Cotto stopped Muhammad Abdullaev in nine rounds to avenge his Olympic loss. Held the WBA welterweight title from 2006 to 2008 and successfully defended it four times. Cotto was 12-0 (10 KO) in his first 12 world title fights.
