Ayumu Hirano (平野 歩夢, Hirano Ayumu, born 29 November 1998) is a Japanese Olympic champion and three-time Olympic medalist snowboarder and Olympic skateboarder.

At the age of 15, Hirano won an unexpected silver medal, becoming the youngest Japanese athlete to win a medal at the Winter Olympics. Four years later in his second Olympic Games appearance at PyeongChang 2018, he landed the first double cork 1440 trick in Olympic history.
Hirano Ayumu will attempt to earn his long-sought-after Olympic gold medal when the men's snowboard halfpipe competition gets underway on 9 February at Genting Snow Park. Incredibly, Beijing 2022 will be the Japanese's second Olympic Games in the space of six months after he competed in the skateboarding competition at Tokyo 2020.
