Nachman Syrkin (en ruso Нахман Сыркин; 11 de febrero de 1868 - 6 de septiembre de 1924) fue un teórico político, fundador del sionismo laborista y un prolífico escritor en hebreo, yiddish, ruso, inglés y alemán.

SYRKIN, NACHMAN (1868–1924), first ideologist and leader of Socialist Zionism. Born in Mogilev, Belorussia, Syrkin received a thorough Jewish education by private tutors, and when he moved with his family to Minsk (1884), he completed his studies at a Russian high school.
Summary. In 1939 Berl Katznelson published his essay on Syrkin's early life (until 1903). It still stands as the most impressive memorial to him, characterized as it is by a broad historical sweep, a sensitive understanding of the man and his ideas, much humor and wit.
