Idabelle Smith Firestone (November 10, 1874 – July 7, 1954) was an American composer and songwriter. [1] Biography. She was born in Minnesota City, Minnesota, to Eliza B. Allen (1843–1923) and George T. Smith (1841–1921), the youngest of five children.
Dedicated on September 11, 2022, Idabelle Firestone’s Gathering Place & Garden honors the legacy of Idabelle Smith Firestone with an outdoor amphitheater, pavilion classroom, heritage plantings and lilac stroll garden uniting The Legacy Trail with the Harvey S. Firestone family’s resting place in Columbiana Cemetery.

Idabelle Firestone, née Smith, was born November 10, 1874. She and Firestone were married in 1895, and were the parents of six children. Idabelle was a musician and composer, and as such contributed several songs to The Voice of Firestone. The compositions “In My Garden” and “If I Could Tell You” both were featured as theme songs for the program.
