Phedon Papamichael, ASC (Greek: Φαίδων Παπαμιχαήλ, Faidon Papamihail; born 10 February 1962) is a Greek cinematographer and film director, known for his collaborations with directors James Mangold, Alexander Payne and Wim Wenders.
Phedon Papamichael, an award winning Cinematographer, was born in Athens, Greece and moved with his family to Germany, where in 1982 he completed his education in Fine Arts, in Munich. Working as a photojournalist brought Phedon to NYC in 1983, where he started crossing over into cinematography.

Nominado a un premio de la Academia por su trabajo en la cinta Nebraska (2013), Papamichael es famoso por su trabajo en largometrajes como Fenómeno (1996), Identidad (2003), Entre copas (2004), El cazador y la reina de hielo (2016) y Contra lo imposible (2019), entre otras.
Phedon Papamichael was born in 1922 in Thessaloniki, Greece. He was an art director and production designer, known for A Woman Under the Influence (1974), The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976) and Seven Hours to Judgment (1988). He died on 16 July 2008 in Athens, Greece.
