Gabriel Duvall (December 6, 1752 – March 6, 1844) was an American politician and jurist. Duvall was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1811 to 1835, during the Marshall Court.
Gabriel Duvall is an eccentric heir to the Duvall ball bearing fortune, who later became a murderer and serial rapist. He was tried and convicted of the rape of Nina Zergin. Gabriel was born into the prestigious Duvall family and was raised by his mother, Eleanor from a young age.

Although he served as a Justice of the United States Supreme Court for nearly a quarter of a century, Gabriel Duvall had a relatively small impact on the development of American constitutional law. Born into a prominent Maryland Huguenot family, he studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1788.
U.S. statesman Gabriel Duvall was an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1811 to 1835. He wrote relatively few opinions and is perhaps best remembered for his support of the rights of slaves. Duvall generally voted with his colleague, Chief Justice John Marshall.
Justice Gabriel Duvall joined the U.S. Supreme Court on November 23, 1811, replacing Justice Samuel Chase. Duvall was born on December 6, 1752 in Prince George’s County, Maryland. He served in the Maryland militia during the Revolutionary War but also managed to start his legal career.
