Daniel Paul Collins (born 1963) is a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Hon. Daniel P. Collins is Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona in Phoenix, appointed as bankruptcy judge on Jan. 18, 2013, and as chief judge on March 17, 2014.
Collins successfully prevented union trust funds from receiving monetary damages from tobacco companies to assist in paying for union workers’ tobacco-induced health problems.
