Thomas Lee Ambro (born December 27, 1949) is a Senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Thomas L. Ambro is a federal judge on senior status with the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit. He joined the court in 2000 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton (D). He assumed senior status on February 6, 2023.

Thomas L. Ambro is a Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Prior to becoming a Judge in 2000, he was a member of the law firm of Richards, Layton & Finger, Wilmington, Delaware, where he was the head of its Bankruptcy Group and involved in many of the most significant reorganizations in the 1990s.

Clinton on September 28, 1999, to a seat vacated by Walter K. Stapleton. Confirmed by the Senate on February 10, 2000, and received commission on February 16, 2000.
