  7. In 2006, Bill Putnam's famous United Western studio complex on West Sunset Boulevard was re-opened as the EastWest Studios retaining much of it's original acoustic design. After only two years in service, Bill Putnam's United Recorders in Los Angeles was booked to the limits of its capacity.
