Dagwood y Blondie han escrito cada uno unos cheques caridad desconociendo que el otro lo ha hecho. Para cubrir las cantidades entran en un concurso de composición de canciones. Meanwhile Mr. Dithers wants Dagwood to soften up a female client in order to close a real estate deal.
