Le Plombier Amoureux plot. Elmer E. Tuttle, a Parisian plumber, is summoned by Patricia Jardine to repair her shower. Patricia is in love with Tony Lagorce, but tries to avoid him because Tony has told her that he is married to Nina Estrados, who does not want a divorce. Tony, however, is not married.
Paris plumber Elmer Tuttle is enlisted by socialite Patricia Alden to help make her lover Tony Lagorce jealous. With the help of his friend Julius J. McCracken, and through the high society contacts he has made through Patricia, Elmer hopes to find financing for his latest invention, a pistol with a target-illuminating light.
