Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness? is a 1969 British musical film directed by Anthony Newley and starring himself, Joan Collins, Milton Berle, George Jessel and Bruce Forsyth.
Famous and rich, and surrounded by women, Heironymus still seeks happiness. He finds it, or thinks he does, with the virginal Mercy Humppe. But Mercy is too good, too pure; he returns to the arms of Good Time Eddie Filth's girls.
While Polyester is bearing him two children, Heironymus takes up with the seductive Mercy Humppe, but when Polyester loses her third child, and the Presence once again appears, Heironymus finally decides that it is time to settle down.
