Grupo británico de música tecnopop formado en 1985 en Londres por Vince Clarke (teclados) y Andy Bell (voz). Nacido el 3 de julio de 1960 en South Woodford, Essex, Vince Clarke había fundado en 1980 un grupo llamado The Composition of Sound junto a su amigo Andrew Fletcher.
