Enslaved es una banda de Black Metal noruega, fundada en 1991 por Grutle Kjellson (bajo y voz), Ivar Bjørnson (guitarra y sintetizador) y Trym Torson (batería) en Haugesund. El nombre del grupo proviene de la canción «Enslaved in Rot» de Immortal.

At the time, Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson were respectively 13 and 17 years old. Their first concert was in Haugesund on November 30th, 1991.
Enslaved is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson in Haugesund in 1991. They are currently based in Bergen. The band's lineup has changed many times over the years, and Bjørnson and Kjellson have been the sole constant members.
21 de dic. de 2023 · That said, that doesn’t mean that we don’t enjoy the song! Quite the contrary! We love this odd little hybrid of folk rock, early Mayhem and King Crimson!
