Thomas Quasthoff (Hildesheim, Baja Sajonia, 9 de noviembre de 1959) es un bajo-barítono alemán. Es uno de los máximos intérpretes de su generación igualmente cómodo en recitales de Lieder, [1] ópera y jazz, [2] destacándose como recitalista en el repertorio barroco, oratorios y Liederabend.
Thomas Quasthoff (born 9 November 1959) is a German bass-baritone. Quasthoff has a range of musical interest from Bach cantatas, to lieder, and solo jazz improvisations. Born with severe birth defects caused by thalidomide, Quasthoff is 1.34 m (4 ft 4 + 3 ⁄ 4 in), and has phocomelia.
