Thomas Edward Hassan is an American educator who served as the first gentleman of New Hampshire from 2013 to 2017 as the husband of governor Maggie Hassan. He has served as the President of School Year Abroad since June 2016.

When he was principal, the Hassans did not live in the Governor's Mansion, instead living in a colonial house on the school campus provided to them as part of her husband's employment.
