George Smith Patton IV (December 24, 1923 – June 27, 2004) was a major general in the United States Army and the son of World War II General George S. Patton Jr. He served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

George Smith Patton IV was born on 24 December 1923, the son of famed World War II U.S. Army General George S. Patton Jr. He was in his last year at the U.S. Military Academy when his father died after a traffic accident in Germany in December 1945.
