18 de may. de 2012 · Thomas Nelson, Jr. (December 26, 1738 – January 4, 1789) was a wealthy plantation owner from the infamous town of Yorktown, Virginia. He was elected to represent Virginia as a delegate at the Second Continental Congress and would serve as the Governor of Virginia in 1781.
Member of the House of Burgesses, 1774; Virginia provincial Convention, 1775; Officer and Commander of the Virginia Militia, 1775...; Delegate to the Continental Congress, 1775-77, 1779; Elected Governor of Virginia, 1781.
