Walter Karl Gustav August Ernst von Reichenau war ein deutscher Heeresoffizier. Er war seit 1933 federführend bei der Eingliederung der Reichswehr in den NS-Staat tätig. Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges war Reichenau als Armee- und Heeresgruppenoberbefehlshaber an führender Stelle an Kriegsverbrechen in der Sowjetunion beteiligt.

Walther von Reichenau was a confidant of Adolf Hitler and had responsibility in the assacianation of Ernst Röhm and the deminishing of the SA during the Night of the long Knives".
