Eleonor de Vermandois 1 (1152 – 1222) era hija de Raúl I, conde de Vermandois y de Valois, y de Petronila de Aquitania. Tras la muerte de su hermana Isabel de Vermandois (1183), su cuñado Felipe de Alsacia conservó los condados de Vermandois y de Valois, que, finalmente, tuvo que ceder a Felipe Augusto en 1185.

Éléonore de Vermandois (Aliénor [1] de Vermandois chez certains auteurs [2]), comtesse d'Ostrevent, de Nevers, de Boulogne et de Beaumont, née après octobre 1152 [3], morte en juin 1214 [4] est la fille de Raoul I er, comte de Vermandois et de Valois, et de Pétronille d'Aquitaine.
Vermandois fue un condado francés que se formó durante el periodo merovingio. En el siglo X se organizó alrededor de dos dominios: San Quintín (Aisne) y Péronne (Somme). Pipino I de Vermandois fue el primero de los condes que lo gobernaron, y era descendiente en línea masculina directa del emperador Carlomagno.
