Christina of the Isles (fl. 1290–1318) was a fourteenth-century Scottish noblewoman. She was the daughter of Ailéan mac Ruaidhrí and a leading member of Clann Ruaidhrí.

Sadly, little is really known about Christina, sometimes called Christian or Christiana, Christina of Garmoran, or Christina of Mar. The daughter and only (legitimate) child of Alan MacRuairi, she inherited vast portions of the western isles: Knoydart, Rum, Eigg, Moidart, Barra, Uist, and Gigha, in the early 14th Century.
The marriage between Duncan, son of Earl Donald of Mar, and Christina, daughter and heiress of Alan MacRuairi of Garmoran, certainly provided Earl Donald, a northern rival of the Comyns, with a bond of kinship to the Hebridean line whose lands bordered Badenoch to the west.
CHRISTINA MACROURIE OF GARMORAN: We know that not long after his coronation in 1306, Robert went into hiding with just a few of his closest compatriots. The western isles became his hiding place where he could renew his strength from military, physical and psychological points of view.
