Ottavio Piccolomini, 1st Duke of Amalfi (11 November 1599 – 11 August 1656) was an Italian nobleman whose military career included service as a Spanish general and then as a field marshal of the Holy Roman Empire.
Octavio Piccolomini (Florencia, 11 de noviembre de 1599-11 de agosto de 1656), primer duque de Amalfi, fue un militar italiano al servicio de España y del Imperio. Biografía. Nacido en Florencia, en el seno de una familia noble sienesa (véase familia Piccolomini). A los 16 años era ya piquero en una compañía española.
