Biography. Robert Sackville is Notable. Born about 1561 Robert Sackville was the eldest son of Thomas Sackville, Earl of Dorset and his wife, Cicely Baker. [1] [2] He was educated at Hart Hall, Oxford and New College, obtaining both a BA and an MA in 1679, before going on to Inner Temple. [2] [3]
