General George Thomas Keppel, 6th Earl of Albemarle, DL, FGS, FSA (13 June 1799 – 21 February 1891), styled The Honourable from birth until 1851, was a British soldier, Liberal politician and writer.
1697 creation. George Keppel, 3rd Earl of Albemarle. In 1697, King William III created his Dutch favourite Arnold Joost van Keppel Earl of Albemarle in the Peerage of England. He was made Baron Ashford, of Ashford in the County of Kent, and Viscount Bury, in the County of Lancaster, at the same time. [1] .
George Thomas Keppel was born on the 13th June 1799 Marylebone, Middlesex, London, England. He was the sixth child of William Charles Keppel 4th Earl of Albemarle, and his first wife, Elizabeth Southwell

George Thomas Keppel, sixth Earl of Albemarle, second son of William Charles, fourth earl, by his first wife, the Hon. Elizabeth Southwell, daughter of Lord de Clifford, and grandson of George Keppel, third earl of Albemarle, was born 13 June 1799.

George Keppel. Died 1804. He was the illegitimate son of the Earl of Albemarle, the nephew of Admiral Viscount Keppel, and the cousin of Admiral Hon. Sir George Cranfield Berkeley. Keppel was commissioned lieutenant on 14 May 1774 and promoted commander on 18 March 1777.
