  3. FRANCIS MANNERS, sixth Earl of Rutland (1578-1632), second son of John, fourth earl of Rutland, nephew of Edward, third earl, and brother of Roger, fifth earl, was born in 1578. He seems to have been with his brothers under the care of John Jegon at Cambridge.
