Andrew Stewart (c. 1420 – 1488) was Lord Chancellor of Scotland from 1460 to 1482 and one of the leading servants of King James III of Scotland .
Andrew Stewart, 1st Lord Avondale (died 9 September 1513) was a Scottish nobleman. He was the son of Alexander Stewart, from whom he inherited the lands of Avondale.

His grandson Andrew Stewart was created Lord Avondale circa 1499, a revival of the title which had become extinct on his great-uncle's death in 1488. Andrew, Lord Avondale, was one of the many Scottish peers who were killed at the Battle of Flodden in 1513.
They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. In 1499, his occupation is listed as 1st lord of avondale (2nd creation) in Scotland. He died on 9 September 1513, in Northumberland, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 43.

Andrew's father was the 1st Lord Avondale of a new creation, Andrew surrendered his title for a new investment as Lord Ochiltree. His seat became Ochiltree Castle in Ayrshire.
