Treniota (also spelled Troniata; Belarusian: Транята; c. 1210 – 1264) was Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1263 to 1264. Treniota was the nephew of Mindaugas, the first and only king of Lithuania.

The House of Mindaugas ( Lithuanian: Mindaugaičiai) was the first royal family of Grand Duchy of Lithuania, centered on Mindaugas, the first known and undoubted sovereign of Lithuania. He was crowned as King of Lithuania in 1253 and assassinated ten years later.
His assassination in 1263 by Treniota ended the early Christian kingdom in Lithuania. For another 120 years Lithuania would remain a pagan empire, fighting against the Teutonic and Livonian Orders during the Northern Crusades during their attempts to Christianize the land.
