Anton Gunther Friedrich Elimar (23 January 1844 – 17 October 1895) was a duke of Oldenburg, and the son of Augustus, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and Princess Cecilia of Sweden.

The first known count of Oldenburg was Elimar I (d. 1108). Elimar's descendants appear as vassals, though sometimes rebellious ones, of the dukes of Saxony; but they attained the dignity of princes of the empire when the emperor Frederick I dismembered the Saxon duchy in 1180.

Brief Life History of Elimar I. When Elimar I Count of Oldenburg was born about 1040, his father, Hylas von Lothringen "der Schwanenritter", was 21 and his mother, Elsa von Brabant, was 20. He married Richenza von Dithmarschen before 1070, in Holy Roman Empire. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 1 daughter.
21 de sept. de 2023 · After bearing Duke Elimar, 36-year-old Cecilia died from puerperal fever on the 27th of January 1844. She was buried in the mausoleum in the Churchyard of St. Gertrude in Oldenburg. August did not marry again.
