The vandalised and partially-reconstructed tomb of John Neville and his first wife, Maud, between two pillars in the south transept of Durham Cathedral, in the former Neville Chantry. John Neville, 3rd Baron Neville , KG (c.1337 – 17 October 1388) was an English peer, naval commander, and soldier.

He was knighted in 1360 and after his father's death in 1367 he succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Neville of Raby. In 1368 he served as the English ambassador to France. He was Admiral of the King's fleet and served in the wars against the Scots and French.
