Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (1 December 1636 – 5 February 1718; née Percy) was an English noblewoman, the daughter of Algernon Percy, 10th Earl of Northumberland. She was the wife of Arthur Capell, 1st Earl of Essex. Elizabeth was the subject of a portrait by court painter Sir Peter Lely.
Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (1704 – 8 June 1784) was the second wife of William Capell, 3rd Earl of Essex, and the mother of William Anne Capell, 4th Earl of Essex. Lady Elizabeth was the daughter of Wriothesley Russell, 2nd Duke of Bedford. The earl, whose first wife Jane had died in 1724, married Elizabeth on 3 February 1726.
Arthur Capell married Lady Elizabeth Percy, daughter of Algernon Percy, 10th Earl of Northumberland and Lady Anne Cecil, by whom he had children: Algernon Capell, 2nd Earl of Essex (1670–1710), only son and heir, who succeeded him in the earldom.
Mary and Elizabeth Capel were the sisters of Arthur Capel (1632–1693), first Earl of Essex, who rebuilt and enlarged the house and gardens of the family seat, Cassiobury Park, beginning in 1677.
