James Allen's Girls' School, abbreviated JAGS, is a private day school situated in Dulwich, South London, England. It is the second oldest girls’ independent school in Great Britain - Godolphin School in Salisbury being the oldest, founded in 1726.
With its distinctive heritage as the oldest independent girls’ school in London, JAGS has girls’ education in its DNA. This is a school that offers a forward-thinking and contemporary education for over 1100 students aged 4 to 18.
Our main points of entry are 4+ to join us in Reception (our Pre-Prep School) and 7+ to join us in Year 3 (our Prep School). Please note that applications for 4+ entry in September 2024 has now closed.
