Peter Forsskål (también Pehr Forsskål, Peter Forskaol, Petrus Forskål o Pehr Forsskåhl; 11 de enero de 1732, Helsinki; † 11 de julio de 1763, Yerim, Yemen) fue un naturalista, explorador y orientalista sueco, uno de los diecisiete apóstoles de Linneo.

Peter Forsskål (1732 - 1763) fue un naturalista, explorador y orientalista sueco, uno de los diecisiete "apóstoles" de Linneo, con quien estudió en Upsala. Completó sus estudios en la Universidad de Gotinga. En 1760 se unió a la expedición danesa a la península Arábica bajo la dirección de Niebuhr.
