Prince Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski a.k.a. " Mirobulius Tassalinus " (4 March 1642 – 17 January 1702) was a Polish noble, politician, patron of the arts and writer. [1] Biography. Lubomirski was the son of Marshal and Hetman Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski and Konstancja Ligęza.
Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski is the personage with whom the history of the Royal Baths began. In 1674, he took possession of the vast Ujazdów area, together with a woodland area known as Zwierzyniec – now forming the premises of the Royal Łazienki where we walk every day.

(1641 – 1702) Born into the family of the powerful magnate who led a rebellion against King Jan Kazimierz, Stanisław Lubomirski was educated in France, Spain, and Italy. He returned to Poland in 1662 and began his political career, becoming a deputy, Sejm Marshal (1670), and Grand Marshal of the Crown (1676).

Prince Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski (1642-1702) was one of the precursors of the Polish Baroque in literature. To rebuild his numerous residences he hired Tylman of Gameren, later court architect of the king Mikołaj Korybut Wiśniowiecki.
