Matt Olmstead is an American writer and producer for television shows. Early life. Olmstead graduated from California State University, Chico in 1988. He is an alumnus of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. He went to Hollywood in hopes of being a script writer. Olmstead eventually worked with an agent, who set him up with Steven Bochco.
Matt Olmstead is a TV producer and writer who has worked on shows like Chicago P.D., Prison Break, and NYPD Blue. He is married to Dawn Olmstead and has created or written for several series, including Law & Order: Organized Crime and FBI: International.
