The 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship was the ninth season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, an auto racing series organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). La FIA y el ACO presentaron el calendario para la temporada 2021 durante las 24 Horas de Le Mans 2020.El calendario cuenta con seis rondas en lugar de ocho, el calendario no incluye las 6 Horas de Silverstone, las 6 Horas de Shanghái y el Lone Star Le Mans en comparación con la temporada 2019-20, pero incluye una nueva ronda, las 6 Horas de Monza.
SEASON 9 : 2021. Season 9 saw the brand new Hypercar replace the top tier LMP1 category, as well as an amended calendar of six races in Europe and the Middle East. The pandemic meant a replacement race was staged in Portimão in Portugal and a double-header in Bahrain rounded out the season after Fuji was cancelled for the second consecutive year.
