Béla III (Hungarian: III. Béla, Croatian: Bela III., Slovak: Belo III.; c. 1148 – 23 April 1196) was King of Hungary and Croatia between 1172 and 1196. He was the second son of King Géza II and Géza's wife, Euphrosyne of Kiev. Around 1161, Géza granted Béla a duchy, which included Croatia, central Dalmatia and possibly Sirmium.

Béla III was the king of Hungary (1173–96) under whom Hungary became the leading power of south-central Europe. Béla was educated at the Byzantine court and placed on the throne by force of arms by the Byzantine emperor Manuel I Comnenus in 1173.

Béla III. ( slowakisch Belo III., kroatisch Bela III., * um 1148; † 24. April 1196 in Esztergom) war ungarischer König aus dem Geschlecht der Arpaden und regierte von 1172 bis zu seinem Tod. Béla III. war der Sohn von Géza II. und Euphrosyne, der Tochter Mstislaw I. von Kiew. Er folgte seinem Bruder Stephan III. auf den ungarischen Thron.
