Bømlo (/ ˈ b ʌ m ˌ l oʊ /) is a municipality in the southwestern part of Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Sunnhordland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Svortland. Other villages in Bømlo include Mosterhamn, Rubbestadneset, Lykling, and Langevåg.
Bømlo (or Bømmeløy) is an island in Vestland county, Norway. At 171 square kilometres (66 sq mi), it is the largest island in the island municipality of Bømlo, lying just off the western coast of Norway.
Bømlo er en kommune i Sunnhordland i Vestland fylke med nær 12 000 innbyggere, og omfatter siden 1. januar 1963 de tidligere kommunene Moster, Bremnes og Bømlo. Kommunen består av flere øyer og holmer. Øyene i kommunen er bundet sammen av flere broer, f.eks. Bømlabrua. Øyene i nord og i øst tilhører kommunene Austevoll, Fitjar og Stord.

Bømlo eller Bømmeløy er den største øya i Bømlo kommune (171 km 2) i Sunnhordland sørvest i Hordaland. Kulleseidkanalen deler øya i ein norleg del med store nakne myrar og ein sørleg del som er frodigare. På Bømlo ligg tettstadene Svortland, Rubbestadneset, Foldrøyhamn, Langevåg og Melandsvågen og den nedlagde ferjekaia Siggjarvåg.
