A biographical film or biopic (/ ˈ b aɪ oʊ ˌ p ɪ k /) is a film that dramatizes the life of an actual person or group of people. Such films show the life of a historical person and the central character's real name is used.

El término película biográfica o biopic (del inglés biographical y motion picture) (en ocasiones, también drama biográfico) se aplica a un género cinematográfico que se caracteriza por la dramatización cinematográfica de la biografía de una persona o un grupo de personas reales.
