Copp's Hill Burying Ground is a historic cemetery in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts. Established in 1659, it was originally named "North Burying Ground", and was the city's second cemetery.

14 de jul. de 2016 · Used continually as a burying ground through the 1850s, Copp's Hill is the final resting place of over 10,000 people. The Mather tomb contains the remains of the prominent ministerial family. Also interred here are: Edmund Hartt, the builder of the USS Constitution.

Generals Thomas Gage and John Burgoyne watched the battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775 from atop Copp’s Hill. The British artillery fired on Charlestown during the battle and eventually set the entire town ablaze.
