Duke Georg Alexander of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (Russian: Георгий Георгиевич Мекленбург-Стрелицкий; 6 June 1859 – 5 December 1909) was the eldest of the two surviving sons of Duke Georg August of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and of Grand Duchess Catherine Mikhailovna of Russia.

Hereditary Prince Alexander grew up in the Black Forest region of the state of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany where he received his initial education. He has been heir apparent to the headship of the House of Mecklenburg-Strelitz since the death of his grandfather Duke Georg Alexander on 26 January 1996.

He was interred alongside his first wife in the family vault in Inzigkofen, Sigmaringen. Georg’s elder son Georg Alexander succeeded as head of the House of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
