Emmanuel Graf von Mensdorff-Pouilly (24 de enero de 1777 - 28 de junio de 1852) fue un oficial del Ejército Imperial-Real del Imperio austriaco, y vicegobernador de Maguncia. Era el tío de la reina Victoria y padrino de su marido, el Príncipe Alberto de Sajonia-Coburgo-Gotha .
Emmanuel Graf von Mensdorff-Pouilly (24 January 1777 – 28 June 1852) was an army officer in the Imperial-Royal Army of the Austrian Empire, and vice-governor of Mainz. He was the uncle of Queen Victoria and the godfather of her husband, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha .
In 1818, Emmanuel von Mensdorff-Pouilly received a comital title from the Austrian Emperor, and he was recognized as noble in Bohemia (the Inkolat) in 1839. Through Emmanuel's wife, Princess Sophie of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, the family is closely related to the royal families of Belgium, Sweden, Portugal, Bulgaria and the United Kingdom.

Biografía. Nació como un hijo de la Princesa Sofía de Sajonia-Coburgo-Saalfeld y del Conde Emmanuel von Mensdorff-Pouilly, un miembro de la Casa de Mensdorff-Pouilly. Entró en el Ejército austriaco en 1829, y fue promovido a capitán en 1836 y a mayor en 1844.

Mensdorff-Pouilly ist ein weitverzweigtes, aus Lothringen stammendes Adelsgeschlecht. Es leitet seine Herkunft von der 1395 zur Baronie erhobenen Herrschaft Pouilly bei Stenay ab und besteht heute noch. Von 1871 bis 1964 bestand in der Nachfolge des Hauses Dietrichstein die fürstliche Linie Dietrichstein-Mensdorff-Pouilly.
